Although I don't teach students who take the MEAP, we still have to focus on test preparation in Grade 11. Many students worry about the timed writing required for the ACT portion of the Michigan Merit Exam. By completing frequent writing assignments within a time limit-- some fun and creative, some copied from previous ACT exams-- students become more comfortable with the timed writing process and don't worry as much when it comes time to perform on test day. -SARAH B.
